A few changes in the house
David and I have started doing a little bit here and there around the house. I wanted to change the guest room and our room a little so I swapped out the curtains and replaced them with some new colorful ones. It brought out some nice colors in the rooms and was just enough of a change to be happy with. Now I'm working on David's office and new closet systems in the rooms to help with keeping us more organized. I'll keep you posted.... :)
Caitlin's Garden
We had our backyard redone and David let Caitlin have a small area on the side of the house to grow her own garden. She has worked so hard on it the past few days and it looks so cute.
Dinner with the family
We met Cameron for dinner the other night downtown at the Waikiki Beachwalk. It's such a pretty area with shops and restaurants everywhere. In the evening they light up the tiki torches and it looks so beautiful.
Caitlin on the train
Caitlin and I rode the train at the Pearl Ridge Mall. We had the cabin all to ourselves so she started acting silly.
The USS Arizona
While shopping at the Pearl Ridge Mall with Caitlin, we rode the little train they have from their uptown center to their downtown. The train has views of Pearl Harbor and so I took some pictures. In the distance you can see The USS Arizona and Ford Island. A very strong reminder of our past American History. I am still touched at the sight of it and I feel proud to be an American.
