The Kucic Ohana in Wailea Maui

We had a beautiful time in Maui. The boys got to play a few rounds of golf at the Emerald course of the Wailea. The girls hung out at the pool. Not too shabby.

Our Maui trip

David had to take a few classes in Maui for his new designation of CRS as a Realtor. While he was in class, Caitlin and I explored our hotel. I think we know more about our hotel than the people who work there. Although it was not the best hotel on the island, is had a lot of appeal to it.

Flowers in Maui

While vacationing in Maui, Caitlin and I explored our hotel grounds and found some beautiful flowers. I love photographing flowers because it's so naturally beautiful. Besides my family, it's my most favorite thing to photograph.

More flowers around the house

I can't get enough of my yard. Everyday seems like a new adventure finding new flowers in bloom and even more beautiful than the day before. I feel fortunate that I live in Paradise.

Caty's Morning Glorys

Caty planted some Morning Glory seeds in a pot that I had just cleaned out. She wanted to try her hand in gardening and watch something grow from the seed up. She has been doing a great job because they have been blooming and growing. I had thought we would only see the blue color blooms but this morning we were surprised with a red and violet color.

Papayas and Bananas

Ok, these are the Papaya and Banana trees that I have in my yard. They both have no fruit yet but tend to be a hideout for the pretty birds. Our banana trees have not even given us fruit but are already giving us babies. I spotted the sprouts coming out at the base of the tree. Coooooool!!

Flowers around our house

My mom sent me tropical flowers for my birthday and I placed them around my yard. The dark purple Orchid I placed next to our Travellers Palm so it's cool and gets a little sun. I was told to staple it to the Palm and it would still grow. Supposedly, Orchids need no dirt. The Antherium I placed on our picnic table outside. The Morning Glory (blue flower)is Caty's creation. She picked up some seeds from Walmart and planted them in the pot and out they came. The Bird of Paradise is my favorite. My Mother in law told me she feeds hers with bone and blood meal so now that I've fed them this, they have started to bloom consistently. Thank you mom and mom!!! I love you guys.

We went to White Plains Beach this morning and David spent some time surfing. We wanted to get some exercise in. So while he surfed, I walked the beach.
