Our day with Aunty Rose at Ford Island

We spent the day with Aunty Rose today and had a really nice time. We took a ride out to Ford Island to do some sight seeing. Aunty Rose had never been across the bridge to Ford Island and she was happy to finally see it. We drove out to the USS Utah Memorial and then the Museum right next to the original untouched Ford Island Historical Air Traffic Control Tower. It was amazing!

CoCo out in the yard

CoCo gets yard time through out the day to do her business and play. She is such an active puppy and never seems to slow down until the evening....almost like a 2 year old. She almost always has the time to stop and smell the flowers though.

Christmas at the Kucics

Our Christmas was very nice and very quiet. We started with the presents at around 9 but Caitlin was ready by 5:30 in the morning. By 10 Cameron had fallen asleep.....opening presents is so taxing on one UH student. It's nice to have Cameron home for the holidays even though all he does here is eat and sleep. I guess its a recovery process when he's home at mom and dads. :) We had a nice ham dinner around 5 and we were all in bed by 9. It seemed like a drowsy kind of a day.

Christmas visit to the Cemetary

On Christmas David took me up to the cemetary to see Jen and Dad. I wanted to put a Christmas flower and some ribbon on their niche. The ride was beautiful and serene. It had been raining a little on the other side and caused a few waterfalls in the mountains. I also took a picture of the "Stairway to Heaven" which is a very dangerous hike due to the stairs falling apart. It's closed to the public but sometimes people still go up there. Either way, it's beautiful and such a lovely drive to the Veterans Memorial Cemetary.

Dressing up CoCo

Caitlin had a fun time dressing CoCo up in her teddy bear clothes. CoCo was somewhat cooperative.

CoCo's new Hair-Do

Today we gave CoCo a bath and then let her dry off outside on a towel in the sunshine. While we brushed her, we put some of her hair up in a little pony tail above her eyes. It stood up like a Palm Tree and it was so cute. Caty and I couldn't stop laughing.

Cooking David's Birthday Lobster

David's birthday lobster turned out really well. It was huge and David was unable to finish it. It took about 25 minutes to cook in boiling water. Although it was a large one, it was still delicious and sweet.

CoCo's Tote

Caitlin's cousin, Mahealani, gave her a beautiful puppy tote for CoCo. It's very chic looking and CoCo actually likes going in it. I think she likes to chew on everything in it more than anything else.

CoCo is getting bigger.......

CoCo is getting bigger.....and badder. :) She has been such a rascal lately. Although she is potty training well, she still has a problem with biting and chewing....anything she can sink her teeth into. Lately she has had a taste for the wood mulch pieces in the yard.

David's Birthday Lobster........5 lbs

Although David's birthday is tomorrow, we celebrated it the night before with a birthday dinner. Lobsters shipped from Maine varying in sizes from 3-5 pounds. I'll have to cook them one at time because I don't have a pot to fit all three of them. Cameron is expected to come over too.......go figure that one. Cam?....miss a meal?.....a lobster one at that.

Caitlin's Christmas play debut as Mary.......

Caitlin had a play at our church this past weekend and she got to be Mary. Her friend Noah played Joseph. They did a beautiful job and the play was a success.
