A Day at Ko'Olina

       

David treated us to an evening at Roy's and a walk on the beach. Ko'Olina has the most beautiful lagoons which are especially pretty at sunset. Even Cameron and Caitlin enjoyed it. We feel very lucky to live Hawaii!!

Hawaii Veterans Memorial Cemetary in Kaneohe is a beautiful place and I am very honored to have my sister and father buried there. It's located at the foothills of the Ko'olau Mountains and nestled between lovely flora and fauna. I love how peaceful and beautifully maintained it is. My dad is buried 10 spaces down from my sister. She is 707 and he is 717. The wall where they are at consists of many other honored Veterans born in the 20's and 30's. My sister is the youngest one on that wall and my father is one of about 5 others within his age range that are the youngest as well. This is just one of many things I have noticed while out there visiting them. I beg anyone who is in the area to take a walk there and spend a few moments with them. I know they would love the company.....and I would appreciate the notion.
